Access & Map – Ougiya Kimono Studio (Tokyo)
Ougiya Kimono Studio is located in Minato, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
Here you can bring your kimono, obi, and silk items for consultation, stain removal, and restoration.
Please note that we operate mainly by reservation to ensure that each customer has enough time for a careful consultation.

To reduce your waiting time, we kindly ask that you make a reservation by phone or email before visiting our studio.
A standard consultation slot is about 30 minutes.
When you make a reservation, we will ask about the items and stains you are concerned about and adjust the time as needed.
Because we give priority to customers with reservations, we may ask walk-in visitors to come back on another day.
If you will be late for your appointment, please contact us in advance so that we can reschedule your time slot.

How to get to our studio
By Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line – Shintomicho Station (Exit 7)
- From Exit 7, go up the stairs to street level.
- Walk straight along the main road for about 230 meters.
(You will pass a pedestrian bridge and the traffic light “Tsukuda-ohashi Nishi / 佃大橋西.”) - At the corner with the “Private Box” trunk room, turn left.
- Walk about 15 meters. Our building is the second building on the left.
- Ougiya is on the 3rd floor (you will see our sign in the upper window).
There is only one corner to turn after leaving Exit 7.
By Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line – Tsukiji Station (Exits 3a / 3b with elevator)
- From Exit 3a or 3b, go up to street level.
- With Denny’s Tsukiji on your right, walk straight for about 240 meters.
- Cross the pedestrian crossing at “Irifunebashi / 入船橋” and turn right.
- Soon you will see Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line Shintomicho Station Exit 7.
- From Exit 7, walk as described above: keep Exit 7 on your left and walk straight about 230 meters,
then turn left at the “Private Box” trunk room and walk 15 meters. Our studio is on the 3rd floor, second building on the left.
By Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line – Tsukiji Station (Exit 4)
- From Exit 4, go up the stairs to street level and walk straight about 230 meters to the “Irifunebashi / 入船橋” intersection.
- With the Shintomicho police box behind you, cross the intersection and continue straight.
- You will soon see Shintomicho Station Exit 7 on your right.
- From Exit 7, walk as described above: keep Exit 7 on your left and walk straight about 230 meters,
then turn left at the “Private Box” trunk room and walk 15 meters. Our studio is on the 3rd floor, second building on the left.
If you are unsure of the route, you can also use Google Maps and search for “きもの工房 扇屋” or “Ougiya Kimono Studio.”
Parking
We do not have a dedicated parking lot at the studio.
If you come by car, please use one of the nearby coin-operated parking lots.

If you are planning to visit us during your stay in Tokyo, we recommend checking the route in advance and making a reservation by phone or email.
